Both of his parents, Jack and Tanya, were Crossroads School students. About 15 years after graduating, the two reconnected at one of their friends’ birthdays. And this time, the two got along right away. After a period of courtship, Jack and Tanya became engaged in January 2006.

The School of Rock star revealed something intriguing about his laid-back parenting style for his youngsters in late 2019. He admitted to the Australian radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa on Nova 96.9 that he lets his children watch mature movies and TV shows.
The comedian has recently focused more on family-friendly ventures, although Jack acknowledged that he will let his kids watch mature movies ‘if they’re truly begging to see it’.

“They both created amusing little iPhone short flicks. I [am] incredibly proud and appreciative of my family.
Black also said during the same interview with the magazine that the actor enjoys spending a lot of his free time with his family.
“I enjoy simply lounging by the pool with the boys, as well as [wife Tanya Haden] and the boys. A day spent by the pool is a pleasant break.
Jack is overjoyed to have such imaginative lads, but the renegade performer is also a little afraid of his youngest child. In 2015, he spoke to Us Weekly at the Hollywood premiere of his film The D Train.
“My young son Thomas no longer adores me. But things are still going well with my big boy [Samuel]. However, I believe everything will turn out in the end.
“There are times when I worry that my young child may kill me. He occasionally displays true wrath in his eyes. And he threatened to kill me, he said. However, I believe it is only a phase.
